Camp Makai is intentionally small and curated. Because cabins are gender-separated and we keep the group tight, we do a quick application to make sure the vibe and logistics line up for everyone, including you.
It only takes two minutes to complete, and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours.
Our camp is hosted at Camp Olowalu, on the beach in a private camp area reserved just for us.

Your base ticket gets you a bed in an oceanfront A-frame cabin with:
Twin beds with memory foam toppers

Each cabin sleeps 6 people.
Please note: this ticket includes communal, camp-style lodging. Tentalow upgrades are available here!

PRIVACY, PLEASE!
Upgrade to your own private tentalow (JUST FOR ONE!) for a more spacious and comfortable stay.
Perfect if you want your own space while still enjoying the full Camp Makai experience.
These are safari-style canvas rooms (glampy AF) with real beds and a little more breathing room.
This private tentalow upgrade is perfect if you want:
quieter sleep
a little extra space
a personal shower in-tentalow

Camp Makai meals are not camp cafeteria food (this is hosted by Maui Makai, afterall).
Our chef and kitchen team prepare fresh, locally sourced meals from scratch.

Coffee is hot every morning.
The kitchen and mess hall sit right on the beach.

Most campers are mid-20s to early 40s, but the real requirement is a good attitude and a willingness to play.

• 2 toilets + 1 shower per gender
• plus an outdoor beach shower

Camp Makai doesnʻt provide alcohol — the energy comes from the people, the games, the ocean, and the experience. Youʻre welcome to BYOB if youʻd like, but most of the fun doesnʻt need it.

Refund & Cancellation Policy
We keep Camp Makai intentionally small, which means once you grab a spot, itʻs yours. Because of the upfront costs to create experience, tickets are non-refundable - but you can always transfer your spot to a friend if something comes up up to 7 days before the event.
