Maui Through A Local’s Eye: Natasha Boone

Born and raised on our beautiful island of Maui, Natasha Boone is a woman of many talents and even more heart. Whether she's dropping beats as a DJ, creating radiant adornments for her jewelry line Natasha Liana (which I am always decked out in), or showing up for the community through her nonprofit work, Natasha lives with intention, rhythm, and a deep sense of place.
She fell in love with DJing back in 2010 while training at the iconic Scratch Academy in Venice, where she learned to spin everything from EDM and hip hop to Top 40. After taking a pause to pour her creativity into jewelry design and advocacy, Natasha is now back behind the decks bringing sound, soul, and movement to the Maui music scene.
But music is just one piece of her mosaic. Natasha’s heart beats for community. She’s contributed deeply to Maui-based initiatives like Pacific Birth Collective and Maui Housing Hui, supporting women, families, and island sustainability from the ground up.
When she’s not mixing tracks or pouring into the community, you can catch Natasha living her best life around the island. From sunrise sweats to sunset bites, she’s tapped into all the things that make Maui feel like magic.
Natasha’s 7 Favorite Things on Maui:

Whether she’s mixing beats, stringing gold, or showing up for her island home, Natasha Boone is the kind of woman who makes Maui feel even more alive and more like one big ‘ohana.
