What Camp Makai Is

Camp Makai is a 2 night, 3-day extravaganza of nostalgic (and competitive) childhood camp games, lit dance parties and splashing in the ocean.

Why I Made This

Hey, I’m Kama, your Editor-in-Chief and Founder of Maui Makai. My two passions in this world: Maui + tomfoolery.

I love throwing events and getting people to experience authentic joy + connection. To do that on Maui? DREAM.

And honestly, I want people to just be silly. We all need more laughter. More childlike wonder. More play.

Because that’s what we’re all working so hard for anyway.
