Shaun Planas is a Maui-based DJ, radio personality, and Operations Manager overseeing eight radio stations. He runs a midday show on Q103 (103.9FM) and a morning show on 98.7 The Vibe — which means when he's not behind the decks, he's literally on the airwaves shaping what Maui listens to. This is a man who lives and breathes music as a full-time thing.
A longtime DJ with a love for everything from hip-hop and R&B to house, EDM, Top 40, and reggae, Kamakaze is known for reading the crowd, creative live mashups, and bringing high energy to every kind of event. Outside of music, he's a proud dad who loves supporting local artists, businesses, and the Maui community. For him, music has always been about one thing: bringing people together and creating moments they'll remember.
