A Soul Reset in Every Sense with Monique Williams of Soul Reset Maui

Some people have been healers long before they ever claim the title.

Monique Williams is one of those people.

Before Soul Reset Maui ever had a name, Monique was already doing the work. I have known her my whole life, and I could feel her energy long before she was willing to share it publicly and personally. She has spent years as a hands-on assistant through healing touch alongside her husband Moʻo, the master behind Tatau by Moʻo, where traditional Polynesian hand-tapped tattooing is practiced with ancestral tools and techniques. Moʻo preserves cultural lineage through deep intention, and Monique has long held space beside that kind of sacred work.

She is a rad blend of New York directness meets Polynesian ease. Ancient knowing paired with grounded presence. A priestess in the truest sense.

So when Monique finally stepped fully into this iteration of her healing work, I was beyond ready. As a Reiki master myself, I know energy work. I also know when someone is truly versed. Monique is.

She came to my house and immediately transformed the space. Fresh cut flowers adorned the room. Hand selected crystals were placed with care. A custom foot soak blend awaited me in a golden bowl, where she bathed my feet as incense burned softly nearby. By the time I climbed onto the Reiki table, the stage was set so completely that dropping in felt effortless.

The music began. Her hands rested gently on either side of my head.

From there, something remarkable happened.

With every new hand placement on my body, a thought would arise in my mind. Not forced or heavy, just present. I would ride each one like a dream until it felt complete. A realization often occurred and then a somatic release came through as a full body exhale, both literally and figuratively.

This happened again and again until I felt like I was floating. Fully. Completely. I drifted into a state of consciousness that my years of meditation have been gently circling, but seldom landing in.

When she brought me back with her soft and intentional awakening, she smiled and said, “It felt like you were flapping your wings and flying.”

That is exactly what I felt.

There were several moments as throughout the session where we shared the same intuitive impressions without needing to say a word. She truly is an intuitive in every sense.

After the session ended, my house felt light but rich. I felt full but spacious. And then came the wave.

Energy poured through me in a way that felt electric. Questions I had been asking. Areas where I felt blocked or confused. They all began to unravel with clarity and ease. Insight came flooding in.

Later that night, as I sat reflecting on the joy and goodness of the experience, I looked up at the sky and saw a rainbow fireball streak across the sky. I shrieked with excitement and immediately tripped over a toad (for the record: my spirit animal).

No coincidences.

Magic.
